The page loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome. These may collect anonymized usage data according to their own policies. However, no image data is shared with them.

We do not store any files on your device permanently. Temporary preview URLs are created and revoked after conversion or when you clear the tool.

Do I need to create an account?

Does the tool work offline?
After the first load (to cache fonts and scripts), you can use it offline. All conversion logic is client-side.

Which image formats can I convert?
Input: PNG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, GIF. Output: PNG, JPEG, WEBP.
How does the background removal work?
Select PNG as output, enable "Remove background color", pick the color you want to make transparent (e.g., white), adjust tolerance, then convert. Works best with solid, uniform backgrounds.
What is tolerance?
Tolerance controls how similar a pixel must be to the selected color to become transparent. Higher tolerance removes more shades. Experiment to get the perfect cut-out.
Will I lose image quality?
PNG is lossless. JPEG and WEBP allow you to set quality from 10% to 100%. We recommend 85-92% for a good balance of size and quality.
⚠️ Troubleshooting
My image isn't converting / the preview is blank.
Make sure the file is not corrupted. Try refreshing the page and uploading again. Large images (over 50 MB) may take a few seconds.
The background removal didn't work perfectly.
Try adjusting the tolerance slider. If the background is not solid (e.g., gradient), manual editing in dedicated software may be needed.
Why does the converted preview have a dotted background?
That's a subtle pattern indicating transparency. The downloaded PNG will have true transparency — the pattern is just a visual aid.

Do you store my images?

Is it safe to use for sensitive documents?
